Arctic Explorer Day – Year 2 children all had a great time trekking to ‘the Arctic’! Professor FAB Halley gave a talk about the Arctic before the children took part in activities such as ‘ice-breaker’, 'pulling sleds', ‘walking through a blizzard’, ‘crossing a glacier’ and ‘skiing across ice’. Hot chocolate awaited them all at the 'North Pole'.
