Parks for People Nov 14

On Thursday 13th November 16 Lyndhurst children went to Beach House Park to support a Local Community Project that has been shortlisted to apply for Funding from the National Lottery.  We met with the Town Crier, camera crew and representatives from the Worthing Churches Homeless Project to be filmed for a television programme called 'The People's Millions' which is due to be broadcast on ITV on Tuesday 25th November (further details to follow!)and some of the Year 3's were interviewed! We also dressed up with chess pieces on our heads as part of the project is to put chess boards in the park. We were all very excited to be involved and hope that as many people as possible vote after the television programme on Tuesday so that the project will be able to go ahead. A great big thank you to all of the children, who were excellent ambassadors for our school!
